Nothing has officially begun closed beta recruitment for its upcoming Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16, exclusively for Nothing Phone (3) users.
While the Phone (3) currently runs on Android 15, this move signals the brand’s commitment to staying ahead in the software game.
In its announcement, Nothing revealed that the first closed beta build will focus on bringing Android 16’s native features while introducing a refined design system. This system is expected to offer a more cohesive and polished user interface in future updates.
