Nothing has officially rolled out its latest update, Nothing OS V3.5-250911-2112, for the Nothing Phone (3).
The update brings a range of new features, improvements, and bug fixes, with a particular focus on camera performance, battery optimization, and overall system stability.
One of the biggest highlights of this update is the enhanced camera functionality. Users can now enjoy smoother and more precise control when manually adjusting the exposure slider. The company has also updated the AI SuperRes Zoom algorithm to deliver sharper text details, while Action Mode has been refined to significantly reduce noise grains for clearer shots.
In addition, camera clarity for third-party apps has been improved, ensuring better results across different platforms. Video recording has also received a boost, offering higher contrast, vibrant colors, and reduced haziness.
According to the official changelog, the update also addresses a tint issue that appeared in certain scenes, helping the device capture more natural and balanced colors.
Beyond the camera, Nothing has focused on improving the overall user experience. Battery consumption has been optimized under specific scenarios, while heating issues have been reduced for smoother performance. Wi-Fi connectivity and network stability have also been enhanced, ensuring more reliable usage in day-to-day tasks.
The update introduces several bug fixes as well, including improvements to the Glyph Matrix display in multi-user mode, resolving duplicated contact avatars in Essential Notification, and fixing haptics bugs when previewing Generative mode. Additionally, the Bluetooth device recording interface has been upgraded, and the system now offers better performance with enhanced stability.
Nothing has confirmed that the update will be released in phases, meaning not all Nothing Phone (3) users will receive it immediately. The company also noted that devices may temporarily heat up and consume more power during the installation process, but performance will return to normal once the update is complete.
