OnePlus 15T is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated smartphones from OnePlus this year, as new details about the device continue to emerge ahead of its official unveiling. The smartphone is expected to be launched in China later this month, with the company gradually confirming several of its key features.

Recently, Li Jie shared additional information about the upcoming handset through a post on Weibo. According to the executive, the OnePlus 15T will feature a compact yet premium display design. The smartphone will come with a 6.32-inch flat display with rounded corners, offering a modern look and improved usability.

Earlier teasers from the company also confirmed that the device will feature extremely slim and uniform bezels, suggesting a more immersive screen experience. This design approach indicates that OnePlus is focusing on both aesthetics and functionality for its next flagship release.

In terms of security and usability, the OnePlus 15T will include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. This technology typically provides faster and more accurate fingerprint recognition compared to traditional optical sensors.

Another interesting feature confirmed for the device is support for a magnetic accessory ecosystem. This ecosystem will include compatible accessories such as magnetic chargers, cooling attachments, and protective cases. The move signals OnePlus’ efforts to expand its accessory lineup and provide more customization options for users.

Battery performance is expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the upcoming phone. The OnePlus 15T will reportedly pack a massive 7,500mAh battery, which is significantly larger than most flagship smartphones currently on the market. The device will also support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring users can recharge quickly despite the large battery capacity.

Durability is another area where the phone is expected to stand out. The handset will offer IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, providing strong protection against dust and water exposure.

On the camera side, OnePlus has confirmed an upgraded LUMO periscope telephoto camera, which should improve zoom photography and image quality.

Meanwhile, industry rumors suggest the phone could be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, potentially delivering flagship-level performance.

More specifications and official launch details for the OnePlus 15T are expected to be revealed next week.
