OnePlus has wasted no time supporting its latest devices, as the company has already begun rolling out the first software updates for the newly launched OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2.
The updates are arriving just a day after the official unveiling, ensuring that early buyers receive improved performance and features right out of the box.
The update for the OnePlus 15R is currently rolling out in India, carrying the build number CPH2767_16.0.1.305(EX01). As with most OnePlus updates, the rollout is happening in batches, with other regions expected to follow soon. This initial update focuses heavily on system optimization and overall user experience.
According to OnePlus, the update brings improvements to system stability and performance, along with reduced power consumption in certain scenarios. Visual enhancements are also included, such as optimized Gaussian blur effects when opening and closing apps.
Camera performance and stability have been refined, while wireless connectivity has been improved with better compatibility and reliability. Users will also notice enhanced stability when sharing content with iPhones, as well as overall improvements in network stability.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is receiving its first update globally with build number 16.0.2.402(EX01). This update introduces a wide range of productivity and multimedia enhancements, along with the December 2025 Android security patch.
One notable addition is the ability to launch storage cleanup tools directly from the Smart Sidebar, making device maintenance more convenient. The update also improves the logic behind AI-generated summaries and subtitles, automatically ending them after a period of no audio input. Photo editing sees useful upgrades, including automatic straightening when cropping or rotating portrait and architectural images, along with improved thumbnail parsing in the Photos app.
Other enhancements include better partial screenshot processing, expanded video editing tools such as cutting, splitting, multi-clip stitching, music, text overlays, speed adjustment, and cropping. Filtering photos and videos is now easier, and users can finally edit images and videos directly within Private Safe without unlocking them first.
With these early updates, OnePlus is reinforcing its commitment to delivering a polished experience from day one.
