OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Turbo 6 smartphone lineup, following multiple leaks and teasers in recent weeks.
The series will include two models — the OnePlus Turbo 6 and the Turbo 6V — and both devices are set to debut in China on January 8. Alongside the announcement, the company has also revealed the design, color options, RAM and storage variants, and several key performance features.
According to official teasers shared on Weibo, the OnePlus Turbo 6 will feature a premium design with a triple rear camera setup and a sleek rectangular camera housing. The smartphone will launch in three color options: Chasing Light Silver, Lone Black, and Wilderness Green. The device will be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations, including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB, catering to both performance users and heavy multitaskers.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Turbo 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, positioning it as a high-performance flagship contender.
The phone will also feature a 165Hz refresh rate display for smoother visuals and an enhanced gaming experience. One of its standout highlights is the massive 9,000mAh battery, paired with an IP69 rating, offering durability and long-lasting endurance for demanding users.

Although full details for the Turbo 6V are yet to be officially confirmed, early reports suggest that the device will also house a 9,000mAh battery. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and feature a 144Hz refresh rate display, making it an appealing option for performance-focused mid-range buyers.
