Oppo has recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro. These devices have already made waves in the tech world, but the company has more in store.
Early next year, Oppo is expected to launch the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini, adding to its impressive lineup.
Zhou Yibao, an Oppo executive, has provided some clarity on the company’s launch strategy for the flagship Find series.
In a recent post on Weibo, Yibao revealed that Oppo plans to hold two launch events for the Find series each year. One event will take place in the spring, and the other in the autumn (or fall, depending on your locale).
With the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro debuting during the autumn launch, it is reasonable to expect the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini to arrive in the spring.
However, before these anticipated devices hit the market, Oppo is set to release the Find N5. According to the same executive, this device will precede the spring launch and will be rebranded for markets outside of China as the OnePlus Open 2.
The Find N5 has already sparked interest, with leaks showcasing its specifications and early renders. These details suggest a strong contender in the foldable smartphone category, continuing Oppo’s tradition of innovation.
As for the Find X8 Ultra, early prototypes reportedly feature a telephoto macro camera. However, Digital Chat Station, a trusted source for tech leaks, has noted that the current output quality of this camera is underwhelming. Oppo may decide to refine or replace this feature before the device’s official launch.
The Find X8 series also brings premium pricing to match its high-end specs. The Find X8 starts at ₹63,999 for the 256GB/12GB RAM model, while the Find X8 Pro is available for £1,088.01 for its 512GB/16GB RAM version. With cutting-edge features and competitive pricing, Oppo aims to solidify its position in the flagship smartphone market.
