Oppo is gearing up for the next generation of its premium foldable smartphone lineup. Following the launch of the Oppo Find N5 earlier this year in February, fresh leaks from China have reportedly revealed exciting details about its successor — expected to debut as the Oppo Find N6.
The upcoming foldable looks set to deliver major performance upgrades, a larger display, and a refined design.
According to early information, the Oppo Find N6 will feature a massive 8.1-inch internal folding display, offering an immersive tablet-like experience when unfolded. On the outside, users will get a 6.6-inch cover screen, ideal for typical smartphone tasks. Powering the device will reportedly be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, making it one of the first foldable phones to adopt Qualcomm’s most advanced flagship processor.
Battery life is expected to see a significant boost as well. The Find N6 is rumored to pack a 6,000mAh battery, an impressive capacity for a foldable device and a likely contributor to enhanced all-day usage.
Photography enthusiasts should also be pleased, as Oppo is continuing its strong camera strategy. The phone is tipped to include a 50MP main camera featuring Sony’s Lytia LYT-808 sensor, paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. This combination promises improved clarity and performance in both standard and zoom photography.
Additional leaked features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, wireless charging support, and a high water-resistance rating, making the foldable more durable and practical for daily use.
Perhaps one of the most compelling claims is that the Find N6 will be thinner and lighter than Oppo’s top Ultra-series flagship. If true, the device may be thinner than 8.8mm when folded and lighter than 226g, outperforming the already slim and premium Find N5.
With its powerful chipset, expanded battery, advanced camera setup, and sleek foldable design, the Oppo Find N6 is shaping up to be a major contender in the foldable smartphone market. More official details are expected as the launch window approaches, and anticipation is already building among Android fans and foldable-tech enthusiasts alike.
