Pak Suzuki to Launch Suzuki Fronx SUV in 2026

Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is gearing up to launch its first completely knocked down (CKD) assembled SUV in Pakistan.

The highly anticipated Suzuki Fronx, a stylish compact crossover SUV, is expected to arrive in the local market during the first quarter of 2026.

This marks Suzuki’s significant return to the SUV segment after years of focusing on hatchbacks and small MPVs.

Exterior Design

The Suzuki Fronx stands out with its bold SUV stance and coupe-inspired styling. Its design features double fenders stretching from front to rear, a striking front grille with gloss black elements, and a split-headlamp setup with LED multi-reflector headlamps and Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).

The SUV is further enhanced with electrically adjustable and foldable mirrors with integrated indicators, LED combination tail lamps, and privacy glass on the rear windows.

Riding on 16-inch alloy wheels with 195/60 R16 tyres, the Fronx ensures a balanced mix of style and practicality, while offering around 170 mm ground clearance for urban and light off-road use.

Interior & Comfort

Inside, the Suzuki Fronx is designed to deliver both comfort and technology. Higher trims may feature a 9-inch HD infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while lower trims could include a 7-inch display.

A head-up display, wireless charging pad, and rear AC vents add to the premium experience.

The cabin offers ample storage spaces, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, and an adjustable leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls.

With automatic climate control, keyless entry, and push start in higher variants, the Fronx promises a modern, driver-focused environment.

Performance

Under the hood, the international variant of the Fronx is powered by a 1.5L DUALJET petrol engine with Suzuki’s mild-hybrid SHVS system.

This setup pairs efficiency with performance by offering 77 kW output and 138 Nm torque, supported by either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission (depending on market).

The mild-hybrid technology boosts fuel efficiency by assisting in acceleration and regenerative braking, making it an ideal compact SUV for daily urban driving.

Safety Features

Suzuki equips the Fronx with an impressive safety package. Standard features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and hill-hold control.

Higher trims are likely to add side and curtain airbags, Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), 360-degree camera, parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. These features make the Fronx one of the safest options in Suzuki’s upcoming lineup.

With an expected price range between Rs. 6 to 7 million, the locally assembled Suzuki Fronx SUV is set to become a strong contender in Pakistan’s compact SUV market.
