May 28, 2025 – Pakistan stormed to a sensational 37-run victory over Bangladesh in the first T20I, thanks to a jaw-dropping five-wicket blitz from Hasan Ali, who turned the match on its head with a bowling performance for the ages.
In what can only be described as a nightmare for Bangladesh, Hasan ripped through their batting line-up with raw pace and precision, claiming five crucial wickets for just 30 runs in 3.2 overs. The Dhaka crowd was left stunned as one Bangladesh batter after another crumbled under Hasan’s lethal assault.
Pakistan, batting first, piled on a commanding 201 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Salman Ali Agha led from the front with a blistering 56 off 34 deliveries, while Shadab Khan added a fluent 48. Young gun Hasan Nawaz chipped in with a powerful 44-run knock to keep the momentum soaring.

Yet, none could match the fiery dominance of Pakistan’s Hasan Ali, whose every delivery seemed destined for destruction.
Shadab Khan complemented Hasan with a valuable all-round effort, taking two wickets, while Faheem Ashraf and Khushdil Shah chipped in with one each.
