Cricket fans are in for a thrilling summer as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially released the match schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The tournament is set to be hosted across seven iconic venues in England from June 12 to July 5, 2026, bringing together 12 elite teams vying for T20 glory in a total of 33 action-packed matches.

One of the marquee encounters of the tournament will see arch-rivals Pakistan and India square off on Sunday, June 14, at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. This high-voltage clash promises to be a crowd-puller as both teams aim to start their campaigns on a winning note.

Pakistan’s Road to the Knockouts

Pakistan has been placed in Group 1, alongside defending champions Australia, fierce rivals India, formidable South Africa, and two teams that will qualify through the global qualifiers.

Following their opening match against India, Pakistan will stay in Birmingham to take on South Africa on June 17 under the lights at Edgbaston.

Their third group stage match will be played at Hampshire Bowl in Southampton on June 20, where they will face one of the qualifying teams.

The challenge intensifies as Pakistan travels to Headingley, Leeds, to lock horns with six-time champions Australia on June 23. Their final group match will be against the second qualifier on June 27 at the Bristol County Ground.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals, which are scheduled for June 30 and July 2 at The Oval in London.

The grand finale will be played at the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 5, promising a fitting end to what’s expected to be a landmark edition of the tournament.
