Karachi, December 2, 2025 – Pakistan’s financial markets released the latest currency exchange rates for Tuesday to assist banking customers, businesses, and overseas remittance senders in making informed decisions. The updated rates, issued at 2:30 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), cover major global currencies traded in the local market.
The foreign exchange market continues to experience moderate fluctuations due to global economic trends, oil price movements, and regional market activity. As a result, both importers and exporters are keeping a close watch on daily exchange updates to manage their trade-related risk more efficiently.
The US Dollar (USD), which remains the most widely used currency for local trade and remittances, is being traded at Rs281.50 for buying and Rs283.25 for selling, reflecting slight day-to-day variations. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) and UAE Dirham (AED) — two major currencies for Pakistani expatriates — also remain stable, offering minimal movement in today’s session.
European and Asia-Pacific currencies, including the Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Australian Dollar (AUD) and Japanese Yen (JPY), also show consistent trends, providing a clearer picture for those planning international travel or cross-border transactions.
