Karachi, November 28, 2025 – The Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (West) has extended payment counter timings at all Off-Dock Terminals until 9:00 PM, following a formal request from the Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA).

KCAA General Secretary Sheikh Waqas Anjum confirmed on Friday that this development is a significant facilitation measure for the Customs Agents community, achieved through the Association’s persistent efforts.

The extension was officially granted based on KCAA’s formal request (Letter No.135/2025-2026 dated November 22, 2025). The Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (West), Custom House Karachi, communicated the extended timings to all concerned terminals through Letter No. SI/Misc/02/2025 dated November 26, 2025, ensuring strict compliance.

KCAA expressed sincere appreciation for the swift response and continued cooperation of the Collectorate, highlighting the importance of such operational improvements in streamlining customs procedures.

Customs agents are encouraged to take full advantage of the extended counter hours to ensure faster and more efficient clearance of consignments at all Off-Dock Terminals under the Collectorate’s jurisdiction.

This move is expected to enhance operational efficiency, reduce congestion, and facilitate smoother processing of import and export shipments across Karachi’s key customs terminals.

Customs agents and importers are advised to plan their visits accordingly, ensuring timely submissions and avoiding delays. This extension also reflects the government’s commitment to supporting trade facilitation and operational efficiency.
