Pakistan Customs gears up for mega vehicle auction in Karachi on February 18

Karachi, February 11, 2026 – Pakistan Customs has announced a mega auction of 239 vehicles, scheduled to take place on February 18, 2026, in Karachi, offering buyers a wide range of seized and confiscated vehicles.

According to an official notice, the auction will be conducted by the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Karachi, at the ASO Headquarters, NMB Wharf. The event is expected to attract strong participation from individual buyers, dealers, and investors seeking competitive deals.

Under the prescribed terms and conditions, successful bidders will be required to deposit 25% of the bid amount as earnest money on the spot, along with a copy of their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). Alternatively, sealed tenders accompanied by a pay order equal to 25% of the bid amount, in favor of the Collector of Customs (Enforcement), Customs House Karachi, will also be accepted against any lot. These sealed bids must be submitted one day prior to the auction at the Auction Section, Customs House Karachi.

In addition, bidders will be liable to pay income tax at the rate of 10% for tax return filers and 20% for non-filers, along with the bid amount, in accordance with prevailing tax regulations.

Furthermore, successful bidders purchasing vehicles will be required to submit an undertaking and obtain a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Collectorate for registration of the auctioned vehicles. This requirement is in line with the Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) order dated May 13, 2022, and must be fulfilled before the issuance of the delivery order.

Pakistan Customs stated that the auction aims to ensure transparency, generate revenue for the national exchequer, and facilitate the lawful disposal of seized goods.
