The Pakistan volleyball team secured an impressive victory over Chinese Taipei in their second and final pool match at the Linping Sports Centre Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China, during the Asian Games held today.

Pakistan’s dominance was evident as they swept aside their opponents in three sets, with scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-19.

This victory comes on the heels of Pakistan’s outstanding performance against Mongolia, where they also secured a convincing 3-0 win. Chinese Taipei, who held the second position in the 2018 Asian Games, faced a formidable challenge from the Pakistani players.

Remarkably, Pakistan, previously ranked 8th in the Asian Games, has shown remarkable improvement and unwavering determination in their recent matches.

The triumph over Chinese Taipei marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s journey to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in international volleyball.

Ch Muhammad Yaqoob, Chairman of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF), expressed his deep appreciation for the outstanding performance of the Pakistani volleyball team and their coaches. He commended their dedication and hard work, which culminated in this impressive victory.
