According to Arif Habib Limited, at least four major SUV models are scheduled to debut next month. The research firm believes this momentum will not slow down anytime soon.
As noted by Arif Habib, “This upward trajectory is expected to continue into CY26, with our tracker highlighting upcoming launches in the compact and full-size SUV segments, alongside the possibility of additional introductions.” This outlook reflects growing confidence in Pakistan’s SUV market.
Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 9 PHEV Coming Soon
Chery Pakistan, under the Chery Master brand, is preparing to expand its plug-in hybrid lineup with the launch of Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV and Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV.
The company is expected to announce official prices and booking details in February.
These launches follow the recent debut of the Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV, which marked Chery’s first locally introduced plug-in hybrid SUV.
With the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 9, Chery aims to strengthen its presence across different SUV sizes, targeting buyers seeking fuel efficiency, electric driving range, and premium features.
BYD Sealion 6 PHEV to Expand BYD’s Portfolio
BYD Pakistan is also gearing up to introduce the BYD Sealion 6 PHEV, further expanding its growing lineup.
The brand recently launched the BYD Atto 2 EV and BYD Sealion 7 EV, gaining strong attention from EV enthusiasts.
The Sealion 6 will become BYD’s second plug-in hybrid SUV in Pakistan after the BYD Shark 6 PHEV, offering a balance between electric mobility and long-distance usability—an appealing option for local buyers.
Omoda C7 Set for Petrol and PHEV Variants
Meanwhile, Omoda & Jaecoo Pakistan is preparing to launch the Omoda C7, which will be offered in both petrol and PHEV powertrains.
The company recently gained traction with the Jaecoo J5 Hybrid, largely due to its competitive pricing strategy.
The Omoda C7 will become the second Omoda model in Pakistan, following the Omoda E5 EV, and is expected to attract customers looking for modern design and advanced technology.
