Global uncertainty weighs on gold prices
Bullion market analysts attributed the decline in domestic gold prices to the weakening trend in international markets.
They said escalating tensions in the Middle East and rising global inflation were contributing to volatility in gold prices and keeping investors cautious.
The combination of geopolitical uncertainty and inflation trends continues to influence investor sentiment towards precious metals.
International gold price falls $24
In the international market, gold prices dropped by $24 per ounce, closing at $4,406, compared with the previous closing of $4,436.
The decline in international bullion prices was reflected in Pakistan’s domestic market, contributing to Monday’s fall in gold rates.
Market participants are closely monitoring developments in global markets, particularly geopolitical tensions and inflation trends, which are expected to continue influencing gold prices in the coming sessions.
