This pledge was made during a high-profile meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and the visiting Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Aiwan-e-Sadr. The meeting, attended by senior Pakistani officials and ministers, focused on fortifying strategic partnerships between the two nations.
President Zardari warmly welcomed the Malaysian premier and emphasized Pakistan’s strong desire to enhance relations with Malaysia, a country he described as a trusted partner and brotherly nation. He noted that the visit of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim would serve as a catalyst for deeper cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.
