Colombo, February 18, 2026 – Pakistan stormed into the Super 8 round of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after registering a dominant 102-run victory over Namibia in a crucial group-stage encounter on Wednesday.

Batting first, Pakistan produced a commanding performance, posting a formidable total of 199 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan led the charge with a magnificent unbeaten 100 off 58 balls, smashing 11 fours and four sixes at a blistering strike rate of 172.41. He was well supported by captain Salman Agha, who struck a quick 38 off 23 deliveries, and Shadab Khan, who remained unbeaten on 36 off 22 balls to accelerate the innings in the final overs.

Usman Tariq delivered a match-winning spell, claiming four wickets for just 16 runs, while Shadab Khan picked up three wickets for 19 runs. Mohammad Nawaz and Salman Mirza also contributed crucial breakthroughs.

Namibia’s resistance was led by Louren Steenkamp, who scored 23, and Alexander Volschenk, who added 20, but regular wickets halted any recovery.
