Pakistan will host Sri Lanka and England across T20Is, an ODI tri-series and World Test Championship matches from October to November.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a busy international home season, with Sri Lanka and England set to tour the country for a series of T20Is, an ODI tri-series and Test matches. The international programme will run from October 9 to November 21.
Sri Lanka will be the first visiting side, arriving in Pakistan on October 4 for a three-match T20I series. All three matches will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 9, 11 and 13, giving the hosts an early opportunity to test their squad ahead of the longer-format fixtures.
England will then join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for an ODI tri-series scheduled from October 18 to 31. The tournament will begin in Rawalpindi before shifting to Lahore for the remaining matches and the final.
Pakistan will open the tri-series against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi on October 18, followed by a clash with England at the same venue on October 20. Sri Lanka and England will meet on October 22 to complete the Rawalpindi leg.
The action will move to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where Pakistan will face England on October 25. Pakistan will then take on Sri Lanka on October 27, while Sri Lanka and England will play their second match against each other on October 29. The top two teams will qualify for the final on October 31.
Following the limited-overs campaign, Sri Lanka will remain in Pakistan for a three-day match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6. The fixture will provide both teams with preparation ahead of the Test series.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka will subsequently compete in a two-match Test series forming part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. The first Test will be held in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, while the second will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21.
The series will mark Pakistan’s second home Test assignment in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle. Pakistan previously hosted South Africa for a two-Test series in October last year.
The upcoming ODI tri-series will also continue Pakistan’s recent tradition of hosting three-team tournaments, following the 2025 event involving New Zealand and South Africa before the ICC Champions Trophy.
