Faiza Nasir and Naheen Khan, representing Pakistan, have emerged victorious in the Women’s Doubles Badminton Unified event at the 16th Special Olympics held in Berlin, Germany.
Their outstanding skills and teamwork led them to clinch the gold medal, while Pakistan secured silver in the men’s event.

The Pakistani duo displayed remarkable performances, triumphing over their opponents from Uzbekistan, Malaysia, and the Kyrgyz Republic.
Competing at Messe Berlin, the Pakistani players secured the gold medal by defeating Uzbekistan with a score of 21-5 and 21-17, Malaysia with a score of 21-14 and 21-6, and the Kyrgyz Republic with a score of 21-12 and 21-13, as reported.

Coaches Mutahir Sohail and Qamar Ali Mona expressed their admiration for the dedication and preparation exhibited by Faiza Nasir and Naheen Khan.
The pair had been training for the World Games for two years and actively participated in specialized training camps.

In the men’s unified doubles event, Pakistan’s Noshiwan Arif Raja and Talha Asif claimed the silver medal, showcasing their talent with victories against Paraguay and Macau.
