Karachi, November 24, 2025 – Pakistan’s top exporters are gearing up to showcase the country’s finest Basmati rice and other premium agro-products at the 3rd International Food and Agriculture Exhibition – FoodAg 2025, scheduled from November 25–27 at the Expo Centre Karachi.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan.
Under the theme “Harvesting Innovation, Cultivating Sustainability”, the three-day event will feature over 350 leading Pakistani exporters and host the largest-ever international buyer delegation, comprising more than 800 pre-qualified buyers from over 80 countries. Attendees will explore Pakistan’s premium Basmati rice, dehydrated mangoes, kinnows, dates, Himalayan pink salt, halal meat, seafood, dairy products, spices, and value-added foods.
In his message, Jam Kamal Khan said, “Pakistan’s diverse agro-climatic zones and the government’s market-opening policies are transforming the country from a large producer into a leading branded supplier. FoodAg 2025 demonstrates the success of this strategy.”
Faiz Ahmad, CEO of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), added, “FoodAg is not just an exhibition; it is Pakistan’s gateway to the world, showcasing our commitment to feeding the globe sustainably. We expect business generation to exceed USD 1 billion through thousands of pre-scheduled B2B meetings, creating jobs and long-term partnerships for farmers and exporters.”
The record-breaking buyer delegation includes major importers from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, GCC, Africa, Australia, Canada, USA, and Russia, with notable companies such as Surya Foods, BERNAS, PT Laris Manis Utama, Migros Türkiye, Mercury Me DMCC, and others. The event also features nine high-level conferences on sustainability, and a Pakistan Cuisine Pavilion with 21 celebrity chefs cooking live using only Pakistani ingredients.
FoodAg 2025 is expected to cement Pakistan’s position as a leading global supplier of premium agro-products and Basmati rice.
