Islamabad, November 1, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has released its weather forecast for Sunday, November 2, 2025, predicting mainly cold and dry conditions across most parts of the country.

Synoptic Situation

According to the PMD, continental air continues to dominate the weather pattern over Pakistan, keeping most regions dry and cool, especially during night and early morning hours.

Weather Outlook

For Saturday, dry weather is expected across the plains and upper regions, while cold temperatures will persist in northern and hilly areas during night hours.

On Sunday, similar conditions are likely to prevail, with dry weather continuing across most regions of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan, while cold winds will make mornings and nights particularly chilly in hilly and northern zones.

Smog Alert for Punjab

Due to the persistent dry spell and rising pollution levels, most districts of Punjab are expected to remain under smoggy conditions. The Pakistan Meteorological Department has advised citizens to limit outdoor activities during early morning and evening hours and wear protective masks when necessary.

Past 24 Hours

Dry weather prevailed nationwide, while smog persisted over Punjab. The lowest minimum temperatures recorded were: Leh -02°C, Skardu -01°C, Ziarat 00°C, and Babusar 01°C.
