The capital city, Islamabad, is expected to experience cold and partly cloudy conditions with light rain or drizzle during the evening and night. Very cold weather, with isolated frost and fog in patches, is likely to occur during the morning hours.
For Thursday night, the PMD has predicted cold and dry weather in Islamabad and its surroundings, emphasizing the city’s exposure to prevailing continental air. A westerly wave is anticipated to affect northeastern regions of the country, including Islamabad, starting tonight.
Weather Forecast for Thursday: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, including Islamabad, with very cold conditions in hilly areas. Partly cloudy weather with light rain or snow may occur in isolated areas of Kashmir and adjoining hilly regions. Smog and fog in patches are likely to persist in the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.

Hilly areas will remain very cold during the morning and night hours.
