Islamabad, September 19, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued its latest weather advisory for Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, while a seasonal low continues to lie over North Balochistan.

Friday Forecast

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected across much of the country. However, partly cloudy skies are likely in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas, bringing some relief to residents.

Saturday Forecast

Hot and dry weather conditions are again likely to dominate in most regions, with no significant change anticipated.

Past 24-Hour Weather

During the last 24 hours, hot and dry conditions prevailed across the majority of Pakistan. However, rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms was reported in isolated pockets of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, and Kashmir.

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pattan 15, Malam Jabba 09, Balakot 04, Dir (Lower 04, Upper 03), Kalam 04, Saidu Sharif 03, Kakul and DI Khan City 02.

• Punjab: Islamabad (Saidpur 11), Lahore City 10, Layyah 07, DG Khan 06, Mangla 06, Gujranwala 05, Mianwali 02, Murree and Chakwal 01.

• Kashmir: Muzaffarabad (City 05, Airport 04) and Rawalakot 03.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperatures (°C): Turbat and Sibbi 41, Nokundi, Bahawalpur, and Dalbandin 40.

The PMD advised citizens to stay hydrated and take precautions against the hot weather, especially in southern and central parts of the country.
