As excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026 continues to build across the globe, Pakistan has showcased its contribution to the world’s most popular sport by unveiling a specially manufactured football produced in Sialkot.
The Trade and Investment Section of the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York organized a special event to highlight the country’s globally recognized sporting goods industry.
Trade and Investment Counselor in New York, Adnan Mahmood Awan, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, participated in the ceremony aimed at promoting Pakistan’s role in international football.
During the event, a giant football manufactured by Vision Technologies Corporation, one of Sialkot’s leading sports equipment producers, was presented by Adnan Mahmood Awan to Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh.
The football symbolizes Pakistan’s longstanding association with football manufacturing and its contribution to the FIFA World Cup supply chain.
The specially designed football was formally unveiled at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC, where it has been placed on public display.
