Media personality and businesswoman Paris Hilton has opened up about her experience as a guest on Meghan Markle’s podcast Archetypes in 2022, calling it a “wonderful” experience.
Speaking to Hello magazine, Hilton praised the duchess, saying, “I loved doing that podcast with her, she was a very smart, lovely person, and I really enjoyed it.”
Meghan Markle’s podcast featured high-profile guests such as Serena Williams, Mindy Kaling, Mariah Carey, and Paris Hilton, exploring cultural labels and societal expectations. In her candid conversation with Hilton, Meghan addressed stereotypes like “Bimbo” and discussed how women’s intelligence and beauty are often unfairly positioned against each other.
Hilton revealed that she resonated deeply with the discussion. “I think that the media can create a character of you – my whole career, my story was always told by other people who didn’t really know me – and so I can relate to a lot of women who have to endure that type of treatment from the media,” she shared.
Reflecting on her journey, Hilton also discussed her new project, calling it “the third part of my trilogy.” She explained, “I started telling my true story in my first documentary, This Is Paris, and then continued going deeper through my memoir, and both of those experiences were truly transformative for me and helped me heal in so many ways.”
Hilton’s conversation on Archetypes highlights her evolution, reclaiming her narrative while shedding light on the societal pressures faced by women in the public eye.
