Paris Jackson has accused the executors of her late father Michael Jackson’s estate of using estate funds to launch public attacks against her amid an ongoing legal dispute, according to court filings.
The 28-year-old actor and musician, daughter of the late pop star Michael Jackson, is one of the beneficiaries of an estate estimated to be worth more than $2 billion, alongside her brothers Prince and Bigi.
In a statement filed on April 6, Jackson said the estate’s executors had used financial resources to “mock and belittle” her after she raised objections to their handling of the estate. The claims are part of a broader legal challenge in which she has questioned management decisions and alleged improper payments.
Executors John Branca and John McClain, who oversee the estate, have denied the allegations. In a previously submitted 83-page response, they dismissed Jackson’s claims and defended their management of the estate, which continues to generate significant revenue years after the singer’s death in 2009.
Jackson’s filing said the response to her objections had been unfair and designed to undermine her credibility. Her legal team further criticized comments made in court by estate lawyer Jonathan Steinsapir, alleging that remarks describing her as “strutting” and referring to the executors as “grown-ups” were inappropriate and carried sexist undertones.
The dispute has also drawn attention to a planned biographical film about Michael Jackson. Jackson has questioned the involvement of estate representatives in the project and denied any personal participation, despite public statements suggesting otherwise.
Legal proceedings surrounding the estate remain ongoing as beneficiaries and executors continue to dispute governance and financial decisions.
Jackson, who has pursued a career in acting and music, has repeatedly said she is seeking to protect her father’s legacy while addressing concerns about the estate’s management.
