Lucky Motor Corporation has announced a price increase for Peugeot cars, in response to the unpredictable and volatile economic conditions. The revised prices went into effect on July 03, 2023.
The decision to raise prices was driven by multiple factors, including the government’s recent implementation of a higher sales tax rate of 18 per cent and the devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee.
These circumstances have forced the company to adjust their car prices accordingly, as they strive to cover rising production costs.
Following are the revised ex-factory prices, effective from July 3, 2023:
Peugeot 2008 Active: The ex-factory price has been raised by Rs210,000, bringing it to Rs7,050,000 from its previous price of Rs6,840,000.
Peugeot 2008 Allure: The ex-factory price has been increased by Rs220,000, now standing at Rs7,800,000 compared to the previous price of Rs7,580,000.
To provide clarity, Lucky Motor Corporation has outlined certain terms and conditions:
Orders placed by customers in June or prior, with full payment credited in LMC’s bank account as of July 05, 2023, will be delivered at the previous ex-factory price.
New customer orders entered into LMC’s system from July 3, 2023, onwards will be subject to the revised ex-factory price.
Ex-factory prices mentioned do not include freight and insurance charges.
Any additional duties and taxes imposed by the government at the time of delivery will be borne by the customer.
The price lock offer applies to all bookings at the revised prices, subject to stock availability.
The price lock offer is valid for a limited time, and Lucky Motor Corporation reserves the right to withdraw it at any time.
