PM Shehbaz Honors Quaid-e-Azam’s Legacy on 148th Birthday

Islamabad, December 25, 2024 – On the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s 148th birth anniversary, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid a heartfelt tribute to the founder of Pakistan, emphasizing his exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to the principles of unity, justice, and equality.

In his message, PM Shehbaz stated, “Today, as we celebrate the 148th birth anniversary of our founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, we are reminded of his extraordinary vision, unshakable courage, and unparalleled determination. He achieved what many thought impossible and gifted us our beloved homeland, Pakistan.” The prime minister highlighted that Quaid-e-Azam’s life and legacy remain an enduring source of inspiration for millions of people worldwide.

Shehbaz Sharif spoke of Jinnah’s remarkable journey, portraying him as an enlightened teacher, visionary lawyer, principled statesman, steadfast politician, and charismatic leader. “His story is not just one of personal triumph but a testament to the power of conviction, the realization of dreams through hard work, and relentless dedication,” the prime minister remarked.

The Prime Minister also referred to a famous quote by Quaid-e-Azam: “Failure is a word unknown to me.” Jinnah’s determination and tireless pursuit of his vision for an independent Muslim state in the subcontinent led to the creation of Pakistan. For Jinnah, the pursuit of a brighter future for his people was far more important than titles or recognition. His ultimate goal was to ensure a nation built on the values of freedom, equality, and justice.

Shehbaz Sharif further elaborated on the Quaid’s dream of a Pakistan where every citizen could live with dignity and enjoy equal opportunities, regardless of their faith or ethnicity. Quaid-e-Azam envisioned a society that was inclusive, unified, and prosperous.

As the nation commemorates this special day, PM Shehbaz called on Pakistanis to draw strength from Quaid-e-Azam’s legacy and reaffirm their commitment to the principles he championed. “It is our collective responsibility to work tirelessly for the progress, prosperity, and unity of our great nation,” the prime minister concluded.
