Islamabad, February 25, 2026 — The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast indicating high temperatures across Sindh, with daytime temperatures expected to remain between 33°C and 36°C over the coming days.
According to the PMD, dry weather is anticipated in most districts of Sindh on Wednesday and Thursday, with no significant rainfall expected. The hot and dry conditions are consistent with the prevailing continental air mass over the region.
Regional Weather Outlook
• Wednesday: Mainly dry weather over most parts of the country, with cold nights in hilly areas. Daytime temperatures are expected to stay above normal.
• Thursday: Dry conditions continue nationwide, with cold mornings and nights in mountainous regions. Partly cloudy skies with light rain may occur in Gilgit-Baltistan during the evening or night.

Weather remained largely dry across the country, while hilly areas experienced cold conditions during mornings and nights. The lowest minimum temperatures recorded included:
• Leh: -8°C
• Skardu: -3°C
• Astore: -2°C
• Gupis: 0°C
The PMD advised residents to take precautionary measures against heat exposure in Sindh, particularly in urban areas where daytime temperatures may remain persistently high. Farmers and travelers are also recommended to stay updated with daily forecasts to plan activities accordingly.
The overall outlook suggests that hot and dry conditions are likely to persist in Sindh, while colder temperatures remain in the northern mountainous regions of the country.
