Islamabad, November 22, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday released updated data highlighting the coldest locations in the country, indicating a further decline in temperatures as the winter season strengthens.

PMD warned that northern Pakistan is likely to witness an additional drop in temperatures in the coming days due to persistent cold continental winds.

A continental air mass continues to dominate most parts of the country, producing stable but dry weather conditions.
Weather Forecast
Saturday
Cold and dry conditions are forecast across Pakistan, with very cold nights in the northern belt. The PMD also noted the possibility of patchy smog or fog forming over Punjab’s plain areas during night hours.
Sunday
The prevailing weather pattern is expected to continue, with severe cold during morning and night in the northern areas. Smog and shallow fog may once again affect parts of Punjab during early morning and late-night hours.
Weather During the Last 24 Hours
Most regions remained dry, while hilly areas experienced cold to very cold conditions. Parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa saw persistent smog with patches of shallow fog.
