Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, March 16, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Monday, providing updates on vessel movements over the past 24 hours to assist stakeholders in Pakistan’s maritime and logistics sectors.

According to the PQA, the port saw a mix of arrivals, departures, and ongoing operations, reflecting consistent commercial activity despite regional and global trade challenges. Among the key sailings, the M.T. Ullswater carrying LPG departed the SSGC berth, while M.V. Common Luck loaded with coal set sail from PIBT. Container traffic remained active with M.V. MSC Vidhi and M.V. Xpress Anglesey departing QICT berths, highlighting the steady flow of export and import containers.

Berthing operations also remained busy, with M.V. Henry Well docking at the FAP berth to unload 26,300 tons of rice, and M.T. Venus 9 arriving at SSGC with LPG cargo. Container vessel M.V. Xpress Anglesey also returned to QICT-V for scheduled berthing operations. The reported drafts and manifest quantities indicate smooth handling of both bulk commodities and containerized cargo, ensuring minimal congestion at key berths.

Port Qasim continues to serve as a critical hub for Pakistan’s trade, supporting the movement of energy products, bulk commodities, and containerized exports. The PQA emphasizes that timely updates on vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo manifests are essential for shipping agents, importers, exporters, and logistics providers to coordinate operations efficiently and maintain seamless supply chain management.

The authority updates its shipping activity reports daily at 8:00 AM Pakistan Time (PKT), providing stakeholders with accurate and timely information on all vessel movements, ensuring transparency and operational efficiency at one of Pakistan’s busiest ports.

This consistent monitoring reflects Port Qasim’s strategic role in facilitating Pakistan’s international trade and maintaining operational readiness for both domestic and global shipping demands.
