Port Qasim shipping: Four vessels to sail, six scheduled to berth on October 9

Port Qasim’s daily shipping programme includes palm oil, coal, LPG, river sand and furnace oil cargoes, according to the latest report issued at 0800 hours.

KARACHI: Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has reported the sailing of four vessels and the scheduled berthing of six ships under its daily shipping operations programme for October 9, 2026.

According to the PQA report updated at 0800 hours on Friday, the departing vessels are carrying palm oil, coal and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), while incoming vessels include ships transporting palm oil, river sand, high-sulphur furnace oil (HSFO) and coal.

Vessels Scheduled to Sail

M.T. Esteem Houston, registered under PQA No. 37940, is scheduled to depart at 1200 hours from the LCT berth after handling 27,500 tonnes of palm oil. The vessel has a length overall (LOA) of 183 metres and a reported draft of 9.90 metres.

M.V. BSG Bimini, with PQA registration No. 37990 and an LOA of 222 metres, is scheduled to sail at 1200 hours from QT2-II.

M.V. Medi Roma, registered as PQA No. 37960, is scheduled to depart at 1230 hours from Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT). The 200-metre vessel is carrying 59,600 tonnes of coal and has a reported draft of 12.95 metres.

Meanwhile, M.T. Venus 9 is scheduled to leave at 1530 hours from the SSGC berth. The vessel, registered under PQA No. 37980, is carrying 3,298 tonnes of LPG and has an LOA of 112 metres.

Six Vessels Scheduled to Berth

The berthing programme includes M.T. Grand Ace 11, scheduled to arrive at 0900 hours at M/W-I with 13,000 tonnes of palm oil. The vessel has an LOA of 183 metres.

M.V. HT Unite is scheduled to berth at 0930 hours at M/W-II, carrying 10,300 tonnes of river sand. The vessel is 117 metres long.

M.T. SC Legacy is expected at the FOTCO terminal at 1000 hours with 25,000 tonnes of high-sulphur furnace oil. Its LOA is 183 metres.

M.V. Oriente Gloria is scheduled to berth at 1530 hours at PIBT with 59,307 tonnes of coal. The vessel has an LOA of 199 metres and a reported draft of 13 metres.

M.V. NZ Ningbo, with an LOA of 200 metres, is scheduled to arrive at QT2-I at 1800 hours.

The final vessel listed in the berthing schedule is M.T. Khasab Silver, which is expected at 1830 hours at the LCT berth with 30,000 tonnes of palm oil. The vessel has an LOA of 183 metres and a reported draft of 9.90 metres.

The shipping programme reflects continued handling of edible oil, energy commodities and bulk cargo at Port Qasim, one of Pakistan’s key maritime trade gateways.
