Karachi, February 13, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Friday, providing detailed updates on vessel movements, berthing, and sailing activities over the past 24 hours to facilitate port users, traders, shipping agents, and other stakeholders.
According to the PQA, the shipping operations report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Time (PKT), reflecting the latest status of ships that arrived at, berthed, and departed from Port Qasim during the preceding day. The report highlights steady maritime activity, with multiple vessels handling essential imports and exports, including palm oil, LPG, containers, oilseeds, steel billets, and coal.
Sailing of vessels
During the last 24 hours, several vessels successfully sailed from Port Qasim after completing cargo operations. M.T-PVT SUNRISE, registered under PQA number 36959, departed carrying 18,100 metric tons of palm oil from the Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT). The vessel, measuring 141 meters in length overall (LOA), sailed at 13:00 hours under the agency of Al-Pine Marine.
Another tanker, M.T-ULLSWATER (PQA Reg No. 36999), sailed from the EVTL berth at 15:00 hours after loading 3,575 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The ship, with a length of 121 meters, was handled by Universal Shipping.
Meanwhile, the container vessel M.V-SPIRIT OF BERTRAM (PQA Reg No. 37028) also departed from QT2-I at 17:30 hours after completing its port operations.
Berthing of vessels
On the berthing front, Port Qasim witnessed the arrival of multiple cargo vessels, reflecting healthy trade and industrial supply flows. M.V-SPIRIT OF BERTRAM berthed at QT2-I at 09:00 hours to handle container operations under the agency of CMA CGM Pakistan.
Bulk carriers M.V-NIKOLAS D and M.V-ASTRAEA SB arrived at PIBT and FAP berths, respectively, bringing significant consignments of oilseeds. M.V-NIKOLAS D carried 68,653 metric tons of soybean seed, while M.V-ASTRAEA SB unloaded 69,970 metric tons of canola seed, supporting Pakistan’s edible oil and feed industries.
Additionally, M.V-SEDRA berthed at M/W-I at 12:30 hours with 7,600 metric tons of steel billets, contributing to raw material supplies for the local steel sector. M.V-AMILLA arrived at M/W-II carrying 42,290 metric tons of coal, a key input for power generation and industrial use.
In the liquid cargo segment, tanker M.T-SEARAY docked at the Liquid Cargo Terminal at 16:00 hours with a consignment of 24,592 metric tons of palm oil, further strengthening the country’s edible oil supply chain.
Operational outlook
Port Qasim Authority officials stated that operations remained smooth and efficient, supported by coordinated efforts of terminal operators, shipping agents, and port management teams. The consistent flow of vessels and diverse cargo highlights Port Qasim’s strategic role in sustaining Pakistan’s trade, energy security, and industrial production.
