Karachi, January 16, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Friday, providing an update on vessel movements over the past 24 hours to assist port stakeholders, shipping agents, and traders. The report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

According to PQA, several vessels set sail from the port, carrying a variety of commodities. Among the departing ships, M.T. SNARTH transported 17,503 tons of palm oil, while M.T. GAS AURORA carried 2,747 tons of LPG. Container ship M.V. MSC GLORY R also departed, handling standard containerized cargo. These vessels left the port in the morning and afternoon, with shipping agents overseeing their operations.

On the arrivals side, Port Qasim received multiple vessels throughout the day. M.T. MARAN GAS ASCLEPIUS brought in 140,400 tons of LNG, and M.V. AUGUST delivered 47,506 tons of pet coke. Additionally, M.T. NCC NAJEM unloaded 37,361 tons of gas oil, M.V. YUAN WANG FU QIANG handled 32,126 tons of iron ore, and M.T. ELM GALAXY discharged 1,195 tons of chemicals. Each vessel was berthed according to schedule, with shipping agents coordinating the operations efficiently to ensure smooth cargo handling.

The daily operations report reflects the port’s ongoing commitment to transparency and efficiency, helping importers, exporters, and maritime stakeholders plan their logistics and monitor cargo movements. With continuous monitoring, Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s busiest and most strategically important maritime hubs.
