Karachi, October 31, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations update for Friday to keep trade and logistics stakeholders informed about vessel movements and port activities.

The report, compiled at 0800 hours, outlines all key operations carried out during the past 24 hours.

According to the latest update, two vessels departed from Port Qasim after completing their respective cargo handling operations. The M.V. SINTRA, carrying 54,197 metric tons of coal, sailed from the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) at 3:00 PM. Meanwhile, the M.T. LEONARDO B, loaded with 4,540 metric tons of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), departed from the Engro Vopak Terminal Limited (EVTL) at 3:30 PM.

In addition, the PQA confirmed the berthing of two vessels on Thursday. The M.T. EVA FUJI, loaded with Ethylene Dichloride (EDC), berthed at EVTL at 6:30 PM, while M.V. XPRESS KOHIMA was berthed at Qasim International Terminal (QICT) around the same time.

Port Qasim continues to handle a diverse range of import and export commodities, including petroleum products, chemicals, bulk cargo, and containers. The authority ensures the smooth functioning of operations to support Pakistan’s maritime trade efficiency and logistics chain.
