Karachi, December 26, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report for Friday, providing updated information on vessel movements over the past 24 hours to facilitate port users, shipping agents, and trade stakeholders.

According to the PQA, the shipping activity report was updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) and covers details related to sailing, berthing, and shifting of vessels operating at Port Qasim.

During the reported period, three vessels sailed from the port carrying various commodities. M.V. Aquila Ocean, registered under PQA No. 36715, departed from the FAP berth carrying a large consignment of soybean seed weighing 68,843 metric tons. Another vessel, M.V. Lapis Lazuli, sailed from M/W-II with 33,447 metric tons of rice, while M.V. Kouros Leader departed from the PIBT berth transporting 50,345 metric tons of coal. All three vessels departed at 3:00 PM under the supervision of their respective shipping agents.

On the berthing side, multiple vessels arrived at Port Qasim to load and discharge cargo. M.T. Joseph berthed at the SSGC terminal carrying 7,235 metric tons of LPG, while M.T. Ejnan docked at the PGPCL terminal with a substantial LNG cargo of 140,948 metric tons. Additionally, M.V. VIMC Bright arrived at M/W-II with cement and rice consignments totaling over 39,000 metric tons. Another vessel, M.V. Aquavita Trust, also berthed at the PIBT terminal during the evening.

The report further noted the shifting of M.V. Trans Asia, which carried soybean seed and was repositioned from the outer anchorage under the supervision of Ocean Services at midnight.

Port Qasim continues to play a vital role in Pakistan’s import and export activities, handling essential commodities such as LNG, LPG, coal, cement, rice, and agricultural products on a daily basis.
