Port Qasim Issues Daily Shipping Activity Report for January 21, 2026

Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, January 21, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Wednesday released its daily shipping activity report to keep traders, shipping agents, and other stakeholders informed about vessel movements at the port. The report provides an overview of maritime operations carried out during the past 24 hours and is updated daily at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

According to PQA, multiple vessels sailed from the port during the reporting period, carrying a range of export and import cargo. Among the departing ships, an LPG tanker transported over 3,100 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas, while another vessel sailed with a major consignment of rice meant for export markets. These movements reflect steady trade activity and the continued flow of essential commodities through Port Qasim.

The authority also reported the berthing of several vessels at different terminals. Container ships, bulk carriers, and general cargo vessels arrived at the port to discharge or load goods, including containers, coal, and fertilizer. The arrival of large container vessels at Qasim International Container Terminal and other berths indicates sustained containerized trade activity.

Officials stated that port operations remained smooth, with berthing and sailing schedules managed in coordination with shipping agents and terminal operators. The daily shipping activity report plays a key role in ensuring transparency and operational efficiency by providing real-time information on vessel arrivals, departures, cargo types, and berth allocations.

Port Qasim is one of Pakistan’s busiest deep-sea ports and handles a significant share of the country’s imports and exports. Regular updates from PQA help stakeholders plan logistics, manage supply chains, and monitor trade flows more effectively.
