Karachi, January 14, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Wednesday released its daily shipping operations report to keep port users, shipping lines, and logistics stakeholders informed about vessel movements and cargo handling activities. The report was updated at 8:00 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST) and covers operational details from the past 24 hours.
According to the PQA, several vessels departed the port during the reporting period. Container ships M.V. MSC Jeanne IV and M.V. GFS Genesis sailed from the port after completing cargo operations at QT2-I and QT2-II terminals, respectively. The MSC-operated vessel handled containerized cargo, while GFS Genesis was operated by X-Press Feeders. In addition, M.V. Hansa Africa and oil tanker M.T. Eva Trust also sailed from Port Qasim earlier in the day.
On the berthing side, Port Qasim witnessed the arrival of multiple vessels carrying essential import cargo. Bulk carrier M.V. Pan Optimum berthed at the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) with a consignment of 33,000 tonnes of chickpeas, handled by Sea Trade Shipping. Meanwhile, coal carrier M.T. Nave Cassiopeia docked at the FOTCO terminal with over 57,000 tonnes of coal, managed by Ocean World.
The authority also confirmed the berthing of container vessels M.V. Zhou Yue Yuan Yang and M.V. CMA CGM Verdi at QT2-I and QT2-II terminals, respectively, later in the evening. Port officials said routine operations remained smooth, supporting uninterrupted trade and supply chain activity at one of Pakistan’s busiest seaports.
