Port Qasim issues detailed daily shipping operations report for December 12

Karachi, December 12, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its comprehensive daily shipping operations report for Friday, offering crucial updates for maritime stakeholders, traders, and logistics companies. Issued at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), the report outlines vessel movements, berthing activities, and cargo operations carried out at the port over the last 24 hours.

According to the PQA, several vessels departed the port with various types of cargo. The coal carrier M.V Union Explorer sailed after completing the handling of 55,709 metric tons of coal at PIBT, managed by Ocean World Shipping. Similarly, M.V Sedra, carrying steel billets, departed from Marginal Wharf-I under the agency of Star Shipping. The container vessel M.V Marianna I also sailed from terminal QT2-II, while the tanker M.T Chemroad Quest, loaded with 27,264 metric tons of palm oil, departed from the Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT) under the supervision of Al-Pine Marine.

The report also highlighted new vessel arrivals at the port. The palm oil tanker M.T Chemroad Zenith berthed at LCT after navigating draft levels of 9.80 meters. The large container vessel M.V Marianna I arrived later in the morning at QT2-II under MSC Pakistan’s agency. In addition, the LNG vessel M.T Al Wakrah, carrying 139,600 metric tons of liquefied natural gas, berthed at EETL with GSA (Pvt) Ltd overseeing port operations.
