Port Qasim issues shipping activity report for October 27, 2025

Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, October 27, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest shipping activity report on Monday to update stakeholders about vessel movements and port operations. The report was issued at 8:00 AM, covering activity over the past 24 hours.

According to the PQA, several vessels sailed, berthed, and handled cargo at various terminals during the period.

Vessel Departures

The bulk carrier M.V. Spirit of Seatrek departed from Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) after unloading 59,453 metric tons of coal. The ship had a total length of 199.99 meters and maintained an aft and forward draft of 13 meters.

Another vessel, M.V. Emmanuel P, carrying containers, departed from Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT-VII). The ship, managed by Southern Agencies, has a length of 260 meters and a draft of 9.2 meters.

Meanwhile, M.V. Maersk Kentucky also sailed from Qasim Terminal 2 (QT2-II) later in the day.

Vessel Arrivals

During the same period, several vessels arrived at the port for cargo operations. The LPG carrier M.T. Pioneer Gas berthed at the SSGC terminal to discharge 1,852 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

The container ships M.V. Albert P and M.V. Maersk Kentucky berthed at QICT-VII and QT2-II respectively. Additionally, the bulk vessel M.V. African Pheasant arrived at PIBT to unload 58,649 metric tons of soybean seed.

The Port Qasim Authority continues to facilitate smooth cargo handling and efficient turnaround of vessels, ensuring steady trade flow through one of Pakistan’s busiest ports.
