Karachi, February 17, 2026 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Tuesday released its daily shipping activity report to keep stakeholders informed about vessel movements and operational developments at the port.
According to the PQA, the report was updated at 8:00 AM PKT, covering shipping operations and vessel movements recorded over the past 24 hours. The update aims to ensure transparency, support trade facilitation, and assist shipping agents, importers, exporters, and logistics operators in planning their activities efficiently.
During the reported period, several vessels sailed from the port carrying a variety of cargo. The tanker M.T-Galaxy Gas departed from the Engro Vopak Terminal Limited (EVTL) carrying 3,417 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Meanwhile, M.V-Sedra sailed from Multi-Purpose Berth M/W-I with 7,600 metric tons of steel billets, reflecting steady industrial raw material movement. In addition, M.V-Seaspan Santos departed from QICT-VII, transporting containerized cargo to international destinations.
On the berthing side, M.V-BTG Elebert docked at the PIBT terminal carrying 65,127 metric tons of canola seed, contributing to the ongoing import of essential edible oil raw materials. Another tanker, M.T-GFS Giselle, also berthed at QT2-II to handle liquid bulk operations.
Port officials said that routine shipping operations continued smoothly, supported by coordinated efforts of port management, terminal operators, and shipping agents. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted port services, efficient cargo handling, and improved turnaround times, which are vital for maintaining supply chain stability and boosting trade activity.
