Karachi, December 14, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has issued its daily shipping activity report for Sunday, providing updated information on vessel movements over the past 24 hours to facilitate port users and other stakeholders.
According to the PQA, the shipping activity report was updated at 8:00 AM and covers both sailing and berthing operations at various terminals within the port. The report serves as a key reference for shipping agents, importers, exporters, and logistics operators to track cargo handling and vessel schedules.
During the reported period, the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier M.T. Horizon 1 successfully sailed from the port after completing loading operations. The vessel, with a length overall of 114 meters, carried an LPG cargo of over 3,100 metric tons. It departed from the SSGC berth under the agency of M. International, marking a routine yet significant movement in the energy supply chain.
On the berthing side, several vessels arrived at Port Qasim to discharge and load various commodities. The bulk carrier M.V. Genco Madeleine berthed at the FAP terminal with a substantial consignment of soybean seed exceeding 56,000 metric tons, handled by Ocean Services. Meanwhile, the container vessel M.V. MSC Floriana VI docked at QT2-II under the agency of MSC Pakistan to handle containerized cargo, reflecting continued activity in the container trade segment.
Additionally, the LPG tanker M.T. Sinar Toraja berthed at the EVTL terminal carrying nearly 3,900 metric tons of LPG, further highlighting the steady inflow of energy-related shipments. Another vessel, M.T. Al Areesh, also arrived at the PGPCL terminal during the day.
Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s busiest deep-sea ports, playing a vital role in facilitating international trade. The daily shipping activity report helps ensure transparency, efficient planning, and smooth port operations for all maritime stakeholders.
