Karachi, January 19, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Monday released its daily shipping activity report, providing updated information on vessel movements over the past 24 hours to assist traders, shipping agents, and stakeholders in the maritime and logistics sectors.

The report, published at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), highlighted key departures and arrivals at Pakistan’s second busiest port. Among the vessels that sailed, the M.T-BERNICE, carrying 30,000 tons of palm oil, departed from the LCT berth at 8:00 PM under the agency of Al-Pine Marine.

Meanwhile, several vessels berthed at Port Qasim throughout the day. The M.T-PVT JUPITER, also transporting palm oil, docked at LCT early in the morning. Container vessels such as M.V-ALBERT P and M.V-MSC MICHAELA also docked at QICT-VII and QT2-II, respectively, facilitating import and export operations.

PQA officials noted that the daily shipping activity report helps enhance transparency and efficiency in port operations, allowing stakeholders to track vessel schedules, cargo movements, and berth availability. With rising trade volumes, the port continues to play a critical role in Pakistan’s maritime logistics and international trade.

Shipping experts emphasized that timely updates from PQA are essential for port planners, importers, exporters, and freight forwarders to streamline operations and reduce delays in cargo handling.
