Karachi, January 17, 2026 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping activity report to keep stakeholders informed about vessel movements at the port.

According to the authority, the report was updated at 8:00 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST) and covers shipping activity recorded during the past 24 hours.

During the period under review, several vessels departed from Port Qasim carrying a variety of import and export cargoes. Ships that sailed included oil tankers, bulk carriers, and gas vessels transporting commodities such as palm oil, cement, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), ethylene dichloride (EDC), and motor gasoline (MOGAS). These vessels were handled at multiple terminals, including LCT, FOTCO, SSGC, EVTL, and MW-II, with shipping agents facilitating smooth operations.

Meanwhile, port operations also recorded the berthing of multiple vessels throughout the day. Incoming ships carried key commodities such as gas oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), soybean seeds, paraxylene, general cargo, and palm oil. The vessels berthed at terminals including FOTCO, EETL, PIBT, EVTL, MW-II, and LCT, highlighting continued commercial activity across Port Qasim’s facilities.

The Port Qasim Authority stated that the regular publication of shipping activity updates aims to enhance transparency and assist importers, exporters, and other stakeholders in planning logistics and port-related operations.

Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s busiest seaports, playing a critical role in handling energy products, bulk commodities, and general cargo for the national economy.
