Karachi, February 27, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has issued its daily shipping program for Friday to facilitate shipping agents, importers, exporters, and other port stakeholders. The updated schedule, released at 8:00 AM PKT, provides details of vessel movements over the past 24 hours, including both sailing and berthing activities.
Sailing of Vessels
According to the latest update, two vessels departed Port Qasim during the reporting period. M.T-DM JADE, carrying 10,468 metric tonnes of paraxylene, sailed from the EVTL terminal under the agency of AL-PINE Marine. Meanwhile, M.V-KM WEIPA, loaded with 58,930 metric tonnes of coal, departed from the PIBT terminal, handled by GAC Shipping.
These sailings reflect steady export and transshipment activity, particularly in energy-related commodities and industrial raw materials.
Berthing of Vessels
On the berthing side, five vessels arrived at the port, bringing in a diverse range of essential commodities. M.V-ROAMA 19 docked at the M/W-I berth carrying 18,000 metric tonnes of palm oil, while M.V-AQUAVITA SOUL arrived at PIBT with 58,003 metric tonnes of pet coke.
Additionally, M.T-ADVANTAGE PATH, laden with 57,237 metric tonnes of gasolene, berthed at the FOTCO terminal. Container traffic was also active, as M.V-CARL SCHULTE arrived at QT2-II under the agency of Ocean Network Express. Furthermore, M.T-KAMUI GALAXY berthed at the EVTL terminal carrying 2,376 metric tonnes of acetic acid.
Operational Outlook
Port officials said that routine cargo handling operations continued smoothly, with no major congestion reported. The steady flow of energy products, edible oils, chemicals, and containerized cargo highlights Port Qasim’s vital role in supporting Pakistan’s trade and industrial supply chains.
