Karachi, February 13, 2025 – Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its shipping activity report for Thursday, February 13, 2025, to facilitate stakeholders and provide a comprehensive overview of maritime operations.

The updated shipping activity report, published at 800 hours, covers vessel movements within the last 24 hours.

Sailing of Vessels

According to the report, two vessels set sail from Port Qasim:

• M.V-KYRA ZAFIRA: This vessel, registered under PQA Reg No. 35418, has a length overall (L.O.A) of 229.00 meters. It carried 64,035 metric tons of canola seed and departed with an aft and forward draft of 12.90 meters at 13:00 hours. Ocean Services acted as the shipping agent, and the vessel sailed from the FAP berth.

• M.V-KOUROS QUEEN: With PQA Reg No. 35447 and an L.O.A of 189.99 meters, this ship transported 54,152 metric tons of coal. It departed with identical drafts of 12.63 meters at 15:00 hours. Ocean World served as the shipping agent, and the vessel sailed from the PIBT berth.

Berthing of Vessels

The report indicates the following berthing activities:

• M.T-KATHRINE KOSAN: Registered under PQA Reg No. 35448, this 126.70-meter-long vessel berthed at 10:30 hours to offload 5,500 metric tons of ethylene. AL-Pine Marine managed this shipping operation at the EVTL berth.

• M.V-BREMEN EXPRESS: With an L.O.A of 335.00 meters, this container vessel berthed at 11:00 hours. Hapag-Lloyd Pakistan coordinated the shipping logistics at the QT2-II berth.

• M.V-MAERSK CAPETOWN: This ship, measuring 249.00 meters, berthed at 15:30 hours at QICT-VII.

• M.V-DSM LONDON: A rice-carrying vessel with an L.O.A of 180.00 meters berthed at 16:00 hours to offload 30,000 metric tons of rice. Star Shipping managed this operation at the FAP berth.

Shifting of Vessels

The report highlights the shifting of M.V-SPIKE (PQA Reg No. 35445) at midnight. This 199.86-meter-long vessel, carrying 58,618 metric tons of soybean seed, shifted from PIBT to another berth under the supervision of AL-Pine Marine.
