Port Qasim Releases Shipping Operations for February 6, 2026

Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, February 6, 2026 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Friday issued its latest shipping operations report to facilitate shipping lines, port operators, importers, exporters, and other key stakeholders. The report, updated at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), provides details of vessel movements, berthing activities, and shifting operations recorded during the past 24 hours.

According to the PQA, multiple vessels were berthed at various terminals, reflecting steady cargo handling activity at one of Pakistan’s busiest seaports. The container vessel MSC Patnaree III arrived at QT2-I terminal, handling containerized cargo, while MT Hydra, carrying approximately 55,000 metric tons of liquid cargo, was berthed at FOTCO terminal. Another vessel, MT Venus 9, also docked at the SSGC berth, contributing to ongoing port operations.

In addition to berthing activities, vessel shifting operations were also carried out to ensure smooth traffic flow within the harbor. The tanker MT Marine Ista, engaged in bunker supply operations, was shifted from the outer anchorage as part of routine port management and operational planning.

Port officials stated that shipping movements remained smooth and uninterrupted, supported by coordinated efforts of marine services, terminal operators, and port authorities. Efficient vessel handling is crucial for maintaining cargo throughput, minimizing turnaround time, and supporting Pakistan’s trade and energy supply chains.

Stakeholders have been advised to remain updated with official Port Qasim notifications for real-time information on vessel schedules, berthing windows, and operational changes, as shipping activities are subject to tidal conditions, weather patterns, and port traffic dynamics.
