Karachi, November 1, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Saturday released its detailed shipping activity report for November 1, 2025, providing an updated overview of import and export vessel movements to facilitate trade stakeholders and shipping agents.

According to the latest update issued at 0800 hours, multiple vessels engaged in the loading and unloading of essential commodities including coal, palm oil, rice, furnace oil, and ethylene dichloride (EDC) during the past 24 hours.

The PQA confirmed that two vessels — M.T Venus and M.V Thor Fearless — departed the port after completing operations. M.T Venus, carrying over 22,000 metric tons of palm oil, sailed from the Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT), while M.V Thor Fearless, loaded with 53,000 metric tons of coal, departed from the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT).

Meanwhile, several vessels berthed at different terminals for cargo handling. These included M.V Melbourne Spirit carrying rice, M.T Famiglia with coal, M.T Eva Fuji transporting EDC, M.T Blue Sky I delivering furnace oil, and M.T Valery Roma loaded with palm oil.

The port authority stated that smooth operational coordination between terminal operators, customs officials, and shipping agents ensured timely cargo handling and minimal congestion.

PQA reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing port efficiency through digital reporting systems and real-time operational updates, aimed at supporting Pakistan’s growing maritime trade and industrial supply chain.

The report highlights Port Qasim’s crucial role as a gateway for bulk cargo and petroleum imports, underscoring its importance in sustaining Pakistan’s economic and industrial activity.
