Karachi, October 30, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest shipping activity report on Thursday morning, providing details of vessel movements, berthing, and sailing operations during the last 24 hours.
The update, issued at 0800 hours, reflects steady maritime activity across Pakistan’s key trade gateway.
According to the PQA, several vessels carrying essential commodities such as containers, palm oil, LNG, LPG, and petrochemical products were involved in active operations. The report highlights significant sailings and arrivals, underscoring Port Qasim’s critical role in handling the nation’s import and export logistics.
Among the notable sailings, M.V. Hansa Africa, managed by GAC Shipping, departed from QICT-VII carrying containerized cargo. M.T. Hanyu Freesia, operated by Al-Pine Marine, sailed from EVTL with 9,526 metric tons of Paraxylene, while M.T. Start completed its operations at LCT before leaving the port later in the day.
Meanwhile, new vessels were berthed to continue smooth cargo handling operations. M.T. Al Qassar, carrying 140,000 metric tons of LNG, berthed at EETL under the agency of GSA (Pvt) Ltd. Similarly, M.T. Venus, loaded with 22,756 metric tons of palm oil, arrived at LCT, and M.T. Leonardo B, carrying 4,540 metric tons of LPG, docked at EVTL.
Port Qasim continues to maintain efficient maritime coordination with ship agents to ensure timely berthing, cargo offloading, and sailing operations — keeping trade activities uninterrupted and aligned with Pakistan’s import-export schedules.
